by Second 2 Nature Taxidermy Supply with Greg Harris 1½ Hrs
Greg starts by preparing the manikin and filling horns with bondo. The skin has already been prepared. He continues with turning the ears, thinning the nose pad and bondos the ears. Hide Paste is applied to the face and the skin is placed on the manikin. He tucks and pins the lips and nostrils. The throat incision is sewn up as well as around the horn cores. The horns are attached to the manikin. He then brushes and grooms the Bison. After continuing to check over the mount for the next two days, finish work is started. Removing pins, finish wax around eyes, Apoxie Sclupt inside nose and rebuilding bottom lip, painting and spray gloss.
