Stop-Rot was developed as an aid in preventing hair and epidermal slippage. It extends the work time of a fresh hide by slowing down or stopping decomposition. Apply as soon as possible after the animal has been skinned or thawed. Stop-Rot helps soften and rehydrate freezer burned skins. It also improves the efficiency of acids in the acid/saline solution (pickle). It makes shaving easier and allows faster and deeper penetration of acids. Can be used on mammals, birds and fish.
