A super strong and economical acid for making a pickle bath. ½oz per gallon of water will result in a pH 2. We highly recommend salting and draining any skin before placing into the pickle.
Add 1 lb of salt and ½ oz of TanZall Safety Acid to every gallon of warm water, (never over 90º). Soak skin for 2 days, or until ready to shave. Remove skin and shave, return to pickle and soak overnight. Re-shave skin and neutralize using Sodium Bicarbonate when using the TanZall Paint-On Tan. DO NOT NEUTRALIZE if tanning with alum or Lutan-F.
