These paints are concentrated and a little will go a long way. Paint must be thinned with water, rubbing alcohol, lacquer thinner or mineral spirits. Apply with a brush and move the paint over the antlers as you would if you were staining a piece of wood. A light wiping during the drying process will bring the texture of the antlers out. Finished paint will have a flat look and will require a sealer once you have achieved the desired look. If you are not satisfied with your first attempt, use hot water to was Antler Paint off, dry antlers and start over.
