The Ray Murphy Original Veined Septum Sheet can be installed the same way as the fast septums that are on the market. By having a 5¼? x 8½? sheet you can cut any size needed. This will allow you to use this product on all sizes of game heads. A protective cover sheet is also included, this will soften the look and keep paint off of the septum.
Can be used with septum tool or simply make one cut down the center of the manikin's nose, cut a pice off of the septum sheet and fold it together tightly (this will make both sides from one piece instead of inserting two seperate pieces), place the folded end in first, trim off any excess. Now cut two pieces from the protective cover sheet and place in front of the septum sheet on each side, trim off any excess. Fill the cut back in with bondo or apoxie sculpt. The protective cover sheet can be cleaned with lacquer thinner or Windex if any overy spray gets on it while finishing your mount.
