by Second 2 Nature Taxidermy Supply with Tommy Ramage 2 Hrs
Tommy starts with a breast incision and skins the duck. He uses Dry Preservative to help pull the flesh off with his hands and a scalpel. He removes the Humerus bones in the wings. Tommy makes an incision on the top of the head to skin the head out and cuts off the bottom of the skull. He then mounts the duck on a urethane body and sews up the incisions. The duck is attached to a piece of driftwood. He then cards and tapes the feathers in place and pins the eye lids. He finishes by spraying a clear lacquer on the bill and feet.
