SKINNING & MOUNTING A MOURNING DOVE FLYING (Wrap Body)
by Second 2 Nature Taxidermy Supply with Tommy Ramage 1 Hr
Tommy shows how to mount one of the most difficult birds to mount. In this video he makes a large tear in the Dove’s neck, but he shows you can repair the tear and continue with a nice mount. He makes a wrap body from excelsior and cotton. Tommy also shows how to remove a bad wing from the mount and replace it with a wing from another Dove. Finish work not shown.
